Under the reign of Louis-Napoléon Bonaparte, Pierre-Etienne Janneau and Joseph Dubourdieu created Maison Dubourdieu Janneau & Cie. Five generations of Janneau succeeded each other at the head of the Maison: Pierre-Etienne; Pierre-Louis; Etienne; Pierre; Michel and Etienne.
