Johnnie Walker Green Label is a unique combination of four styles of matured malt whiskies: Speyside, Highland, Lowland and the Scottish Islands, with a depth of flavor not found in any one, single malt.

Relaunched in 2016, Green Label is arguably the richest horse in the Johnnie Walker stable. This blended malt whisky travels the regions of Scottish whisky production and conveys the whirlwind of flavours to your mouth. Hearty.

Nose: The clean aromas of cut grass and fresh fruit mingle with pepper, rich vanilla and sandalwood.

Palate: Discover a range of deep wood notes, lush with oak and cedar. Johnnie Walker Green Label combines these richer flavors masterfully with light garden fruits and tropical, fragrant, floral notes.

Finish: A fantastic expression our signature smoky finish, with notes of peat and the crisp flavor of sea salt.

Distillery Information

In 1857, Alexander Walker — Johnnie Walker’s eldest son — inherited the store and began improving its selection of single malt Scotch whiskies. In addition, Alexander had apprenticed with a tea merchant in Glasgow and there, had learned the art of blending tea. Under his stewardship, the House of Walker began blending whisky and bottling it in an iconic, square bottle adorned with a slanted label.
