It's made with 100% rye grain, 100% small pot still distillation, matured for 100 months in 100% new American oak barrels and bottled at 100° Proof (50% ABV, but we'll let it slide this time). It's a bit like that movie, The Number 23, except about the number 100 and tasty rye whisky, not Jim Carrey.
Millstone 100 Rye Whiskey | 700ML Tasting Note
Nose: Deliciously fragrant with orange blossom, roasted lemon and a touch of thyme. Hints of brown sugar sweetness.
Palate: More lemon notes develop on the palate, now paired with pine. Cardamom spiciness. Maybe even a touch of Fino?
Finish: Waxy fruit and another kick of cardamom.
