Paniolo Whiskey is named after Mexican vaqueros, or cattle drivers, who were brought to Hawaii after Captain George Vancouver gave cattle to King Kamehameha the First. Blended by distiller Mark Nigbur, Paniolo is a blend of Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey and Hali'imaile Distilling Maui Gold Pineapple Distillate, a neutral spirit which they use to produce their vodka. It is bottled at 40% ABV.
Paniolo Blended Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: Balanced aromas of caramel, brown sugar, and sweet corn.
Palate: Balanced flavors of caramel, brown sugar, and sweet corn.
Finish: An extremely clean and smooth finish.
