The 30 year old expression from Glenfarclas is part of Douglas Laing’s XOP (Extra Old Particular) range, and is an impressive single malt aged in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks. The whisky has an ABV of 46.4%, and is bottled at cask strength of 92.8 proof. On the nose, it has aromas of nuts, cherries and toffee, while the palate offers notes of citrus, oak and sherry. The finish is smooth and lingering.
