This is a 40º G.L. extra- aged rum matured at length in sealed white American oak barrels with special reserves up to 18 years of aging and no replacement of Angel’s Share.

Nose: Delicate on the nose with aromas of candied fruits and moderate notes of wood and honey.

Palate: Pleasurable permanence in palate

Finish: Finishing with a prolonged dissipation of flavor of figs and chocolate.

Distillery Information

In 1762, a Spanish captain named Félix Del Fiero decided to settle in Venezuela, in the Macaparana valley, where the Carúpano brand is located today. He decided to make rum there and, for the first time in the country, to age it.
