North Kingstown’s Sons of Liberty Spirits Co. released a limited batch of a Maple Bourbon Whiskey on October 26. After aging bourbon for 19 months in American Oak, the whiskey continued its aging process for another 10 months in a barrel that had held maple syrup. Sons of Liberty produced 150 bottles of the 84-proof seasonal spirit.

Nose: Rich scents of maple syrup.
Palate: A luscious combination of butterscotch, brown sugar, rich molasses and bourbon undertones.
Finish: A warm, smooth finish lingers with notes of a subtle sweetness.

Sons of Liberty Beer & Spirits Co. was founded in December of 2011 in South Kingstown, RI. Since that time, they’ve been impressing locals, visitors and the liquor industry with their growing range of award-winning craft spirits.
