It was distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2019 by independent bottler Douglas Laing. This whisky has a rich golden-amber colour, with aromas of honey, smoke and citrus fruits. On the palate, it has a medium-full body, with notes of dried fruits, pepper, toffee and a hint of smoke. The finish is long and smoky, with a hint of oak and a touch of sweetness. Overall, the Talisker 8 Year Old (D.2010, B.2019) Douglas Laing's Old Particular is a great whisky, with a good balance of sweet and smoky flavours.
