From the fabulous folks that brought us Pig's Nose and Sheep Dip comes The Feathery Blended Malt Scotch Whisky. It's made entirely from malt whisky matured in Sherry casks, imparting a rich sweetness. The name is less animal related than their previous expressions - it celebrates Scottish craftsmanship, referring to a 17th Century precursor to the golf ball, called a Feathery. It was made with hide and stuffed with "a top hat full" of chicken feathers!
The Feathery Blended Malt Whisky Tasting Notes
Nose: On the nose is the distinct aroma of orange oil and candle wax.
Palate: Toffee, butterscotch, gingerbread and grapefruit peel add some complexity to the palate, along with cola spices and honeysuckle.
Finish: Finishes with a bit of heat, and is best with a drop or two of water.

Family owned and operated, Spencerfield is a small-batch craft distillery situated in the small town of Edinburgh, Scotland. Spencerfield is main mission is to produce the finest quality niche craft alternatives to big league brands. And their quirky farm inspired products measures up. Their flagship award-winning Sheep Dip was dubbed ‘extraordinary’ with a score of 96/100 at the Ultimate Spirit Challenge.
