Taking inspiration from historic recipes, reinterpreted to suit modern tastes, Zanin begins by infusing a selection of botanicals in strong alcohol for several weeks to extract their flavour. A combo of both sweet and bitter orange peels, wormwood, cinchona bark, rhubarb rhizomes, and gentian gives this liqueur a bold profile, with bitter zest and barky, herbaceous botanicals, balanced by citrus sweetness.
