Bright mid cherry red. Ripe, expressive cherry fruit and just a hint of stems (subtle dusty note). Chewy, compact and beautifully balanced between fruit and dry finesse. Long, dry finish.

Domaine François Confuron-Gindre (also known as Domaine Confuron-Gindre) is a wine producer based in Vosne-Romanée, in the Côte de Nuits subregion of Burgundy's Côte d'Or. The estate makes a number of wines, predominantly Pinot Noir-based, from a range of holdings across Vosne, Nuits-Saint-Georges and Gevrey-Chambertin. The estate boasts 11 hectares () of vineyard, with a 0.3 hectare () holding in the Echezeaux Grand Cru heading up the selection. A range of Vosne premier crus includes the Les Chaumes, Les Beaumonts, Les Brulées and Les Suchots sites as well as a number of "village" level holdings in Vosne, Nuits and Gevrey. The estate also makes a Bourgogne Pinot Noir and a Bourgogne Aligoté. It is currently overseen by Edouard Confuron-Gindre in collaboration with his father, François. The family is part of the wider Confuron dynasty which includes the Jean-Jacques Confuron and Confuron-Cotetidot domaines.
