Born in Porto in 1983, Márcio Lopes's taste for rurality grew in the company of his grandparents, who always worked in agriculture. Graduated in Agricultural Engineering in 2006, began working with Anselmo Mendes as early as 2005 in Melgaço. Then in 2008 he headed to Australia, where he made two vintages, in Rutherglen and Tasmania.In 2010, he started with two personal projects, 'Little Sprouts' and Forbidden. Wines that express the personality and character of the earth. To experiment, to do, to realize, this is the life motto of Márcio Lopes.
