Aalborg Jubilaeums Aquavit is golden and elegant with a few simple aromas. Dill is encountered in the refined company of coriander, the prinme characteristic of this pure, fruity aquavit. Star aniseed and citrus can also be discerned, all nicely rounded off with a piquant, burnt quality suggestive of caramel. It was introduced in1946 to celebrate the 100-year jubilee of Aalborg Taffel Akvavit.
Nose: A rich clean and furity aroma.
Palate: All rounded off with a spicy burnt taste not unlike caramel.
Finish: Clean,crisp and smooth.

"Jubelaeums is the premiere aquavit (akvavit) (snaps) that quite a few Danes prefer over Aalborg akvavit. Smooth drinking with notes of Dill, Star Anise, and Caraway. In Denmark served straight...out of the freezer! In slender shot glasses especially served with a traditional smorgasbord. Starting with marinated herring, mackerel in tomato. Herring in curry. Then meat dishes both warm and cold and finishing with a variety of cheeses!"
