'Black Ink', in which purple and bright violet hues predominate, is a professional term used in the wine industry by certified wine critics. It refers to a wine's black coloring and opacity. While the phrase's coinage cannot be attributed to any one person, it is noted as a dictum which has been used since the 1920s by wine professionals worldwide. True to Napa Valley tradition, our 'Black Ink' wine is robust, dark, inky, tannin-rich and is handcrafted very judiciously.
