Detailed Description
Detailed Description
This is the third release of The Devil's Cask series of single malt whiskies from Bowmore. A single malt whisky matured in Oloroso and Pedro Ximinez first fill sherry oak casks, which reveal 'Double the Devil' in terms of flavour. A highly sought after and limited release. The church in Bowmore was built without corners so that the Devil could not hide. One evening, the locals chased the devil out the church and he ran into Bowmore Distillery and hid inside casks bound for the mainland. These casks subsequently became 'The Devil's Casks.'
