Cruzan 9 Spiced Rum

This aged rum is combined with a unique mix of nine spices creating a rich amber colored rum that delivers layer after complex layer of taste. Complex flavors of vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and toasted wood offer a unique experience while the nine spices include: allspice, vanilla, pepper, ginger, mace, clove, nutmeg, cinnamon and juniper berry. Enjoy this uniquely spiced rum neat or add a hint of spice to your favorite cocktail. Try a Spiced Rum Punch by combining one and one-quarter parts Cruzan® 9 Spiced Rum with four parts orange juice and one part cranberry juice over ice with a lime wedge garnish.

Nose: Smells exactly like vanilla.

Palate: Smooth and mellow, with rounded and zippy spices that are blended perfectly with hints of vanilla and soft caramel.

Distillery Information

The Cruzan Rum Distillery (formerly known as Estate Diamond) has been in operation for more than 250 years. The distillery is the largest supplier of American private and distributor label rum. Cruzan Rum also makes a pure cane distillate alcohol (in 189-proof), which can be found for sale in the medicine sections of many grocery stores in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Cruzan is one of two rum distilleries which, due to their place in American history, are part of the American Whiskey Trail.
