The first edition of rich, fruity XO Dominican rum from Kirk and Sweeney, matured in American oak barrels, offers aromas of dried fruit, oak, caramel and toffee. Notes of toasted oak, vanilla, raisins, sherry, baking spice and dried fruit fill the palate. The rum is presented in a handmade crystal bottle and mahogany gift box, inspired by an old captain's reserve cigar box.

Nose: This is unrivaled XO rum from Kirk and Sweeney with a highly polished color of deep amber with light golden hues. The nose dominates with layers of dried fruits and oak with subtle hints of caramel and toffee.

Palate: At first sip, flavors of toasted oak and vanilla delight the senses with hints of raisin and sherry, built upon layers of spice and sweet dried fruits.

Finish: Long, warm and robust finish through the end. This XO rum leaves you with a desire for more.

Distillery Information

Bermúdez distillery is located in Santiago de los Caballeros. They produce a variety of Dominican Rums under the name J. Armando Bermúdez & Co., S.A., most notably their Bermúdez, Barceló and Brugal labels known as the three B’s.The history of Bermúdez dates back to 1852, nearly 10 years after the Dominican Republic’s Declaration of Independence. The company is still run by the Bermúdez family till this day.
