Montejima Reposado Tequila

Montejima tequila was launched in 2010 as a premium tasting 100% agave brand at affordable prices. The name "montejima" is translated as "the mountains of agave" and represents the art and the terroir of their spirit. The tequila is produced at the estate distillery of La Cofradia, where they grown their own agave and use traditional brick ovens to slowly bake tequila. The distillery is known for several different boutique labels. The brand itself is owned by the Montejima Tequila Company.

Montejima Reposado Tequila Tasting Notes

Nose: Aromas of Caramel.

Palate: Sweet taste of vanilla. Stewed agave, ginger and cola spices.

Finish: A pleasant oakiness and whiff of smoke comes through in the finish.
