Rosebank 1990 GM is a NAS Single Malt whisky from Scotland. Bottled in 26.06.2014 at 46% this bottle will make a fine addition to any Scotland Single Malt whisky lover. Please note that this Gordon & MacPhail (GM) is Refill Sherry and American Hogsheads. It is also worth mentioning that this is uncolored, non-chillfiltered edition of Rosebank.
Rosebank 1990 GM Rare Old Tasting Notes
Nose: The nose is very flowery and fruity: daffodil, narcissus, lychee, candied lemon and orange blossom. Next, it's creamy on vanilla pods and custard. On the background, there is still some malt and mint.
Palate: A pleasant, full-bodied taste with polished wood, fruit (peach, papaya, lychee), lemon sherbet, vanilla cream and mint.
Finish: Long, pleasantly acidic and with enough sweetness. It's a mix of tropical fruit, citrus, cream and herbs.
Distillery Information
The Rosebank distillery is situated in Camelon on the banks of the Forth and Clyde canal between Edinburgh and Glasgow. Its name originated after the roses which grew along the banks of the canal.
