The company was founded in 1948 and now has 45 full-time employees, making it quite large by Okinawan standards. And although there might be many Awamori makers in Okinawa, not many of them are as loved as Nankijin; it has, for example, won many nationwide awards for its products. Marketing their products in beautiful bottles, using the finest ingredients, and made by a master distiller. There are few things in life better than having a cup of this excellent Awamori after a hard day’s work.
