Contradiction is an apt name for this tasty bourbon from West Virginia's Smooth Ambler. It's made with a blend of sourced old rye-heavy bourbon and younger wheated bourbon made by the Smooth Ambler folks themselves! Combined, these two whiskeys have created a harmonious bourbon packed full of chocolatey, honey-rich bourbon. Smooth Ambler made a change to Contradiction in mid-2018, with the bottling strength being reduced from 50% to 46% - it most certainly remains simply stunning stuff.
