The Traverse City Whiskey Co. XXX Straight Bourbon Whiskey is the distillery’s take on the quintessential American bourbon whiskey. Made from a traditional bourbon mash bill of corn, rye, and malted barley, the whiskey is aged in new American white oak barrels for at least 4 years before being bottled at 86 proof. The result is a delectably sweet bourbon that perfect for sipping but still holds its own when mixed into cocktails.

Nose: Each sip of this gorgeous bronze liquor starts with a powerful nose of caramel, vanilla, cherries, cocoa, and cake batter with subtle hints of grass.

Palate: This is complemented by a sweet palate of more vanilla, caramel, clove, grilled peaches, sweet corn, pepper, tobacco, and a light rye spiciness.

Finish: A moderately long and dry finish with notes of honey and youthful pine.

Known as “The Whiskey of the North,” the upstart company draws upon its early family roots in the distilled spirits industry dating back to the late 1800’s, sourcing all grains from the Midwest.
