Distillery Information

WhistlePig is a brand of rye whiskey produced at WhistlePig Farm, near Lake Champlain in Shoreham, Vermont. In the short time since its creation it has earned several gold medals at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and the World Whiskies Awards. US entrepreneur, former reality TV contestant and erstwhile political candidate Raj Bhakta bought the 525-hectare (1300-acre) farm in 2007 and joined forces with consultant master distiller Dave Pickerell, formerly of Maker's Mark to establish the brand. The enterprise initially operated as a bottler of rye whiskeys of various ages imported from Canada, with the first products released in 2010.
