Colonel Armstrong is a high-wheat, four-grain bourbon built around a soft, rounded profile and layered fruit character. The blend combines Redwood Empire's own grain-to-glass whiskey with selected high-wheat bourbons from Kentucky and Indiana, with components ranging from approximately 4 to 14 years old. Its 30% wheat mash bill brings a gentle texture, while ripe stone fruit, honeyed grain, vanilla, strawberry, baking spice, and oak provide depth.

Nose: Ripe stone fruit, vanilla, honeyed grain, strawberry, sweet cereal, and gentle baking spice.

Palate: Soft and rounded with peach and ripe fruit, honey, vanilla, strawberry preserves, sweet grain, and mild baking spice.

Finish: Smooth and clean, with lingering honey, soft fruit, gentle spice, and integrated oak.

Redwood Empire Whiskey is a Northern California producer known for combining its own grain-to-glass spirits with carefully selected sourced whiskey. The company was founded in 2019 and operates from Vallejo, California, with its releases drawing inspiration from the region's ancient redwood forests. Colonel Armstrong is named after Colonel James Armstrong, whose stewardship helped preserve the land that became Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve.
