Arette Artesanal Añejo is a 100% Blue Weber agave tequila produced in Tequila, Jalisco, using traditional artisanal methods. The agave is slowly cooked in stone and brick ovens, naturally fermented in open-air cement tanks, and double distilled before spending approximately 20 months in American oak bourbon barrels. The extended maturation develops caramel, vanilla, nuts, fruit, and oak while retaining a pronounced cooked-agave character.

Nose: Cooked agave, citrus, exotic fruit, dried grass, vanilla, caramel, and subtle toasted oak.

Palate: Mature agave, caramel, vanilla, almond, walnut, gentle fruit, oak, and black pepper.

Finish: Long and elegant, with lingering cooked agave, vanilla, nuts, oak, and warming black pepper.

Arette is produced by the Orendain family at El Llano Distillery in Tequila, Jalisco, a family-operated distillery with roots dating to 1900. The Artesanal range emphasizes traditional production, including stone-and-brick oven cooking, open-air fermentation, and double distillation. Arette's approach places the natural character of Blue Weber agave at the center while allowing careful oak maturation to add depth and complexity.
