Capurro es una empresa familiar de 100 años de antigüedad con raíces en la cercana San Mateo. La familia opera un negocio de importación y comida peruana en la calle B del centro, y ellos mismos distribuyen su propio pisco. Es literalmente una operación familiar. Esta nueva línea de piscos Capurro son todos de la cosecha 2012 en Perú y han reposado en tanques de acero inoxidable durante más de tres años. Hay tres expresiones monovarietales (Moscatel, Torontel y Quebranta) y un acholado que significa mezcla de diferentes uvas. Están elaborados íntegramente con fruta de la finca, sin aditivos y sin filtración. Todos ellos son excepcionales y valen la pena. El acholado es la más robusta y clásica de las cuatro expresiones, atenuando los aromáticos más brillantes en favor de sabores agrícolas más terrosos. El espíritu sigue siendo limpio y vibrante a pesar del perfil robusto y se mezcla maravillosamente con los cócteles de ron clásicos. Esto podría sustituir fácilmente a un ron agrícola mucho más suave.
