Blackened Whiskey es una marca de whiskies producida en colaboración con la banda de heavy metal Metallica. Lleva el nombre de la canción homónima de la banda, lanzada en 1988 y está embotellada por Sweet Amber Distillery Co. en Mineville, Nueva York. Cada lote de whisky incluye una lista de reproducción seleccionada de canciones de Metallica durante todo el proceso de añejamiento. La marca afirma que las ondas sonoras de baja frecuencia ayudan al alcohol envejecido a penetrar más profundamente en el barril y crear un producto final con más matices. El buque insignia de la marca, Rye the Lightning Kentucky Straight, se reproduce en una lista de canciones de la interpretación de la banda del álbum Ride the Lightning en el festival Orion Music de 2012. Otros whiskies se envejecen con ciertos álbumes o listas de reproducción seleccionadas.
