Il Casato Sauvignon Blanc Friuli is a fresh, aromatic white wine made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grown in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. The wine undergoes cold maceration followed by temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless-steel vats, preserving its vibrant fruit and herbal character. Aromas of stone fruit, green apple, sage and elderflower lead into a rich yet refreshing palate with bright acidity and a mineral edge. Unoaked and elegant, it finishes clean, persistent and refreshing.

Il Casato is a wine brand of Schenk Italian Wineries, whose winemaking tradition in northern Italy extends across Alto Adige, Trentino and neighboring Friuli. The range was created to express the diverse terroirs and aromatic character of northern Italian vineyards. The Sauvignon Blanc comes from Friuli, an area particularly well suited to producing expressive, aromatic white wines. Schenk uses gentle pressing, cold maceration and stainless-steel fermentation to preserve the grape's natural freshness and perfume. Il Casato Sauvignon Blanc has been produced across multiple vintages and remains one of the brand's principal Friuli expressions.
