Nariz: En nariz es ligeramente afrutado y muy indicativo de Sirah, con un toque de canela.
Boca: En boca es caramelo, ligero roble, clavo y el mordisco del bourbon.
Final: El final es medio a largo, suave y con una sensación casi aterciopelada.
Información de la destilería
Inspirado por el movimiento de bebidas espirituosas artesanales en Oregón, Ted Pappas abrió las puertas de Big Bottom Whiskey en 2010 como el principal embotellador independiente de whiskies terminados especiales ubicado en Hillsboro, Oregón. En 2013, Big Bottom lanzó su marca hermana, Calhoun Bros. Adventure Spirits. Bajo esa marca se introdujo la primera bolsa de whisky en el mercado estadounidense junto con un tradicional ron añejo. La compañía se convirtió oficialmente en Big Bottom Distilling en 2014 cuando expandieron sus operaciones a la destilación y lanzaron su primer producto destilado interno, Oregon Gin.
