Clase Azul Encuentros x Amador Montes is the second edition in the Encuentros collection and Clase Azul's first limited-edition mezcal. The joven mezcal is crafted from wild Tepeztate agave, a variety that can take decades to mature in the Central Valleys of Oaxaca, and is produced artisanally in small batches. Its profile combines cooked agave with wildflowers, herbs, eucalyptus, copal, grapefruit and mineral notes. The silky palate develops fresh eucalyptus leaf and lime before a long, herbal and spicy finish.

Nose: Wildflowers, wild herbs and cooked agave with eucalyptus, copal, grapefruit and mineral notes.

Palate: Fresh and expressive, with green eucalyptus leaf, sweet lime and cooked agave alongside subtle mineral, herbal and earthy character.

Finish: Long and silky, with lingering wild herbs, lime, eucalyptus and gentle spice.

Distillery Information

Clase Azul México is one of Mexico's most recognizable premium tequila producers, renowned for combining traditional tequila craftsmanship with elaborate hand-painted ceramic decanters. Its Reposado is produced from Blue Weber agave in Jesús María, in the Los Altos region of Jalisco, and is traditionally aged for eight months in American whiskey casks. The brand's ceramic vessels are individually shaped, fired and decorated by Mexican artisans, making the decanter an integral part of the experience. The Pink Edition series was created to support breast cancer awareness, with the 2018 release marking an important early chapter in the collection. From 2018 onward, a portion of proceeds was directed toward Grupo Reto México, supporting breast cancer detection and care.
