Un raro Dom Pérignon de gran formato de la cosecha de 1993. Notas de melocotones, anacardos, hierbas secas y brioche tostado en nariz, que se prolongan en un paladar cremoso con un final de cítricos glaseados.

Dom Pérignon es una célebre marca de champán propiedad de Moët & Chandon. Sus orígenes se remontan a la Abadía de Saint Pierre d'Hautvillers en el norte de Francia, el llamado lugar de nacimiento de Champagne. Al monje benedictino del siglo XVII Dom Pierre Pérignon se le atribuye su invención después de asumir el cargo de cillerero de la abadía. y procurador en 1668. Pierre Pérignon pasó los 47 años restantes de su vida esforzándose por crear el "mejor vino del mundo", y su vino incluso adornó las mesas de la corte del rey Luis XIV, el Rey Sol. Hasta el día de hoy, el La Abadía de Saint Pierre d'Hautvillers alberga "Le Traité de la culture des vignes de Champagne", o el "Tratado sobre el cultivo de las vides de Champagne", un manuscrito escrito por Dom Pierre, alumno y sucesor de Pérignon.
