Distillery Information

Bacardí was founded in Cuba in 1862 and became one of the world’s most recognized rum producers. The company’s Carta Blanca established the modern style of light, mixable white rum, using oak maturation followed by charcoal filtration to create a clear and versatile spirit. Bacardí later expanded its production beyond Cuba, with Puerto Rico becoming a major center of production. Today, Carta Blanca remains one of the brand’s signature expressions and a foundation for classic cocktails such as the Mojito and Daiquiri.
