Sierra Norte es una línea de whiskies oaxaqueños de Douglas French, el fundador de Scorpion Mezcal, que presenta variedades de maíz nativas de Oaxaca. Esta es una expresión de barrica única que presenta maíz amarillo, con un puré de 85% de maíz y 15% de cebada malteada. Se envejece en roble francés y se lanza en barricas individuales.
Notas de cata de Whisky de un solo barril de maíz amarillo nativo de Oaxaca Sierra Norte
Nariz: Aroma agradable.
Boca: Es brillante y vivaz, con notas de piel de limón, vainilla, semillas de cilantro y toques de malta.
Final: El acabado se desvanece bastante rápido, dejando una ligera nota de jazmín.
