Nose: Warm sponge cake, pineapple, marzipan, grape, lemon, chocolate coconut, sweet vanilla, and floral gorse.

Palate: Juicy pear, vanilla, rich oak, ripe peach, lime, and soft summer fruit.

Finish: Long and warming, with sweet oak, creamy custard tart, gentle floral notes, and lingering fruit.

Distillery Information

Glengoyne Distillery was established in 1833 at Dumgoyne, north of Glasgow, and is owned by Ian Macleod Distillers. The distillery is known for its unpeated Highland single malt, with barley dried using warm air rather than peat smoke. Glengoyne is also distinctive geographically: the distillery itself sits on the Highland side of the Highland Line, while its whisky matures in warehouses across the road in the Lowlands. Its Solstice Series explores limited single-cask expressions inspired by the changing movement of the sun throughout the year.
