El tequila Oro de Jalisco Reposado Rosse da el paso inusual de añejar este tequila durante seis meses no en barricas de roble sino en barricas de vino francés (una práctica de "acabado" que se utiliza a menudo con el whisky escocés). Los tequilas Oro de Jalisco son elaborados por un pequeño destilador artesanal que utiliza hornos tradicionales de piedra volcánica para tostar el agave para su tequila. Este añejamiento le da al tequila una tonalidad rosada y aromas y sabores muy inusuales.
