Este whisky de lote pequeño tiene una mezcla de maíz, centeno y cebada malteada. Todos los granos se cultivan localmente exclusivamente para Woodinville en Quincy, Washington. Los barriles de 53 galones se curan al aire libre y se exponen a la lluvia, el viento, el sol y la nieve durante dieciocho meses. A continuación, las barricas se tuestan lentamente y se carbonizan intensamente. El whisky pasó 5 años en barrica antes de ser embotellado.

a historia de Woodinville Whiskey Co. comienza en 2010 con dos mejores amigos: los fundadores Orlin Sorensen y Brett Carlile. Se propusieron crear un gran whisky artesanal, y estos dos caballeros comenzaron bien al contar con la ayuda del ícono de la industria David Pickerell, el ex maestro destilador de Maker's Mark. Entonces, aunque su negocio es joven, ya ganaron el Whisky Artesanal del Año y el Whisky de Centeno Artesanal del Año durante dos años consecutivos del American Distilling Institute.
