El whisky de centeno puro Kentucky Broken Barrel Honey Smoke está elaborado con centeno y cebada malteada y embotellado al 50,05% ALC/VOL (101 Proof). Producido y embotellado por Broken Barrel Whiskey Company.

Nariz: Se presenta con gran elegancia y encanto en nariz.
Boca: Encantador, suave en la lengua con un ligero picor al final.
Final: Textura bastante delicada y suave en el final largo.
Información de la destilería
El whisky Broken Barrel se destila y se obtiene de la histórica Owensboro Distilling Co. El maestro destilador de octava generación Jacob Call destila cada barril utilizando 100 % maíz de Kentucky procedente de agricultores locales. El bourbon y el whisky de centeno se destilan usando una columna de cobre Vendome™ de 54 pulgadas en la parte superior de un alambique de cerveza, junto con condensadores de cobre y un duplicador de cobre. Owensboro Distilling Co. ha pasado por un incendio en la destilería, prohibición, múltiples propietarios, abandono y un largo período de inactividad antes de su reactivación en 2014. Después de dos años de restauración y renovación, la destilería comenzó a llenar barriles en 2016. Broken Barrel cree la historia de esta destilería y ha ido creciendo junto con la destilería comenzando con whisky de solo 9 meses cuando se lanzó el primer bourbon en 2017.
