An exceptional vintage Blanc de Blancs showcasing the Grand Cru terroir of Chouilly in the Côte des Blancs. Made entirely from Chardonnay, L’Inattendue 2018 combines ripe yellow fruit and pineapple with citrus, vanilla, white flowers, and pronounced chalky minerality. More than four years of cellar ageing and a very low dosage of 2 g/L give the wine both richness and remarkable freshness.

Champagne Henriot was founded in Reims in 1808 by Apolline Henriot and developed over generations around a strong affinity for Chardonnay and the Grand Crus of the Côte des Blancs. L’Inattendue was created to explore the diversity of Champagne terroirs through a single vintage and a single grape variety, with each release focusing on a different exceptional site. The 2018 edition follows the inaugural 2016 vintage from Avize by turning to Grand Cru Chouilly, highlighting the distinctive character of this neighboring Côte des Blancs terroir.
