Clase Azul Master Artisans Guirnalda is an exceptionally limited Extra Añejo tequila aged for more than eight years. The tequila is first matured in American whiskey casks, then Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, before being finished in fortified wine casks from Madeira. Its profile centers on candied fig, toasted almond and clove, with rich dried-fruit sweetness and mature oak. The 1-liter ceramic decanter was created by master artisan Jesús Guerrero Santos and decorated with a delicate floral garland in white and cobalt blue using a watercolor-like paint-thinning technique.

Nose: Date, candied fig, grape, clove and almond with rich dried-fruit sweetness.

Palate: Luxuriously rich, with candied fig, toasted almond and clove, developing into deeper dried-fruit and mature oak flavors.

Finish: Very long and elegant, with lingering candied fig, toasted almond, clove and toasted oak.

Distillery Information

Clase Azul México is one of Mexico's most recognizable premium tequila producers, renowned for combining traditional tequila craftsmanship with elaborate hand-painted ceramic decanters. Its Reposado is produced from Blue Weber agave in Jesús María, in the Los Altos region of Jalisco, and is traditionally aged for eight months in American whiskey casks. The brand's ceramic vessels are individually shaped, fired and decorated by Mexican artisans, making the decanter an integral part of the experience. The Pink Edition series was created to support breast cancer awareness, with the 2018 release marking an important early chapter in the collection. From 2018 onward, a portion of proceeds was directed toward Grupo Reto México, supporting breast cancer detection and care.
