"I bought my only bottle of this sublime Irish whiskey from Dan Murphy's in 2020 right before COVID hit for just under $300. I managed to not drink it through 2 years of lockdowns, until my current partner's drunkard ex-husband drained the entire bottle in a single sitting while I wasn't home. I could have killed him. If you can still get this keep it well hidden."

This is an 18 year old Irish single malt release for The Renaissance Series, which follows on from Teeling's award-winning The Revival Series. Released in celebration of the ongoing Renaissance of Irish whiskey, Dublin whiskey and Teeling themselves, this expression was firstly matured in ex-bourbon barrels before enjoying a finishing period in ex-Madeira casks, imparting rich, fruity sweetness. 9,000 bottles were produced.
Nose: Ripe red fruits, figs, cinnamon and toffee.
Palate: Silky richness accompanied by toffee apple, dried fruits and rosewater notes with cinnamon and clove spice on the tongue.
Finish: Dry finish, with a return of the spices and hints of maraschino cherry.
Teeling Distillery is an Irish whiskey distillery established in Dublin in 2015. It is the first new whiskey distillery to have opened in Dublin, once a world whiskey distilling capital, in over 125 years.
