Bruichladdich X4 +1 Deliverance is a rare one-year-old spirit produced through quadruple distillation at Bruichladdich in 2007 and bottled for the 2008 Fèis Ìle festival. Matured in bourbon cask #069, it was released as a distillery-exclusive valinch with only 800 bottles produced. Despite its young age, the unusually high-strength spirit shows a combination of fruity, malty and sweet characteristics.

Nose: Sweet malt, pear, vanilla, toffee, light smoke and fresh fruit.

Palate: Very rich and alcoholic, with ripe pear, sweet malt, light floral notes and vanilla.

Finish: Short and warming, with sweet malt, pear, vanilla and a pronounced alcoholic heat.
