Nose: Rich caramel, vanilla and toasted oak with brown sugar, dried fruit, roasted nuts and baking spice.

Palate: Full-bodied and smooth, with caramel, vanilla, dark cherry, toasted oak and hints of maple, cinnamon and nutmeg.

Finish: Long, warm and slightly dry, with lingering oak, caramel, vanilla, spice and subtle dark fruit.

Knob Creek is part of the Jim Beam family of Kentucky bourbon brands and was introduced in 1992 as a tribute to the robust whiskey styles associated with pre-Prohibition bourbon. The brand takes its name from Knob Creek, a waterway near Abraham Lincoln's childhood home in Kentucky. Its whiskeys emphasize longer maturation, substantial oak character and higher proof compared with many standard bourbons. Knob Creek 9 Year Old became the flagship expression and helped establish the brand's reputation for rich, full-bodied bourbon.
