Mezcal Jurame Artesanal Reposado 100% Salmiana | 700ML

An artisanal reposado mezcal from San Luis Potosí, made entirely with Salmiana agave. The mezcal rested for six months in white oak barrels before bottling at 40% ABV. The short maturation rounds the earthy, herbal style of Salmiana agave with vanilla, gentle wood spice, and a subtle sweetness, without burying the character of the mezcal beneath a small forest of oak.

Nose: Cooked agave, agave honey, toasted almonds, caramel, white pepper, fresh herbs, sweet oak, brown sugar, and subtle mineral notes.

Palate: Cooked agave, plum, mountain herbs, caramel, vanilla, toasted nuts, gentle pepper, soft sweetness, and white-oak spice.

Finish: Medium and warming, with lingering cooked agave, vanilla, gentle wood spice, herbal notes, caramel, and mineral freshness.

Distillery Information

Mezcal Júrame is produced at the historic Mezcalería La Flor in Estación Ipiña, Ahualulco, San Luis Potosí. The project is rooted in a local community with more than a century of mezcal-making tradition and focuses on the region's distinctive Salmiana agave. Salmiana thrives in the semi-desert conditions of the Potosí highlands, where drought and frost contribute to its distinctive character. Júrame's Joven and Reposado expressions showcase this agave through traditional production, with the Reposado adding six months of white-oak maturation.
