An exceptionally rare 2001 vintage Barbados rum distilled at Foursquare and independently bottled by the legendary Italian bottler Samaroli. Drawn from single cask #4 and matured for two decades, it presents a rich and elegant interpretation of mature Barbadian rum. Fresh lime and yellow tropical fruits are layered with honey, toffee and banana, while the long maturation adds creamy texture, warm oak and refined spice. Bottled at 54% ABV, the rum balances vibrant fruit with deeper notes of dried peel, walnuts and aromatic spices. Only 120 bottles were produced, making this a highly limited Samaroli selection.

Nose: Fresh lime and yellow tropical fruits, followed by honey, rich toffee and delicate floral notes. Warm oak develops alongside dried citrus peel, dates, walnuts and gentle aromatic spice.

Palate: Creamy and richly textured, with honey, toffee and ripe banana balanced by bright citrus. Ginger and warming spice emerge alongside soft oak, creating a concentrated yet elegant mature Barbadian profile.

Finish: Long and refined, with lingering honey, orange peel and gentle oak spice. The sweeter fruit and toffee notes gradually fade into a dry, elegant and lightly spicy conclusion.
