Kavalan es el primer fabricante de whisky de Taiwán y la única destilería de whisky de propiedad familiar del país. Este whisky en particular se compone de aguardiente de pura malta madurado primero en roble americano antes de terminarse en una mezcla de barricas de Ruby Port, Tawny Port y Vintage Port. El resultado es un whisky sorprendente y afrutado.
