Nose: Dried orchard fruits, orange peel, honey, vanilla, waxy malt and gentle coastal smoke, with aged oak underneath.

Palate: Rich and layered with stewed fruit, caramel, dark chocolate, citrus, polished oak and subtle maritime salinity.

Finish: Long and complex, bringing dried fruit, oak spice, orange zest, soft smoke and lingering coastal character.

Distillery Information

Springbank was established in Campbeltown in 1828 and remains one of Scotland's most traditional whisky distilleries. The distillery is notable for maintaining a highly integrated production process on site, including malting, distillation, maturation and bottling. Springbank uses traditional direct-fired stills and worm-tub condensers, while producing its distinctive range of lightly to heavily peated Campbeltown whiskies. Its commitment to traditional production has made the distillery particularly associated with small-scale, characterful single malt.
