La destilería Wakatsuru Shozou es una de las destilerías japonesas más antiguas, aunque no muy conocida. La destilería Wakatsuru obtuvo una licencia para destilar whisky en 1953 y ha estado produciendo una pequeña cantidad de whisky de forma intermitente desde entonces. Esta botella es un single malt de 20 años de la poco conocida destilería Wakatsuru Shuzou en Toyama. Un buen whisky por cierto. ¡Inténtalo para creerlo!

Nariz: Nariz fuerte y turbosa.

Boca: Suave y suave con buen dulzor y especias invernales.

Final: El final es largo, especiado y suave.

Wakatsuru se encuentra en la prefectura de Toyama en la región de Chubu. Aunque la producción de whisky sólo fue posible en 1953, la destilería Wakatsuru Shozu comenzó su producción de whisky en 1862.
