It focuses on Bordeaux-style wines – particularly Cabernet Sauvignon – and has a portfolio of estate-grown and externally sourced fruit from vineyards in Walla Walla Valley and Columbia Valley. The winery was founded in 2007 when Bledsloe purchased the McQueen Vineyard. The estate's first vintage of Cabernet Sauvignon was produced that same year with the help of Bledsoe's childhood friend and winemaking consultant, Chris Figgins of Figgins Family Wine Estates. The McQueen Vineyard spans 20 hectares (50 acres) of land, planted to some 6ha (14 acres) of vines. The site is primarily planted to Cabernet Sauvignon for the estate's flagship Doubleback Cabernet Sauvignon, but includes blocks of Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec for blending.
