William Monroe Wright fundó Calumet Farm en 1924 en una pequeña granja en Lexington, Kentucky. Después de la muerte de Wright en 1933, su hijo Warren comenzó a trasladar el negocio de la granja hacia las carreras de pura sangre. Después de desarrollar el ganado y el pedigrí de la granja por un corto tiempo, los Wright contratan al famoso entrenador de caballos Ben A. Jones. A través de dedicación, pasión y trabajo duro, la granja comenzó un ascenso incomparable y finalmente llegó a la cima del mundo de las carreras de caballos.
