Nose: Rich vanilla, caramel and toasted oak with dark cherry, brown sugar, dried fruit and baking spice.

Palate: Full-bodied and intense, with caramelized sugar, vanilla, dark fruit, cocoa and seasoned oak followed by cinnamon, nutmeg and peppery spice.

Finish: Long, warming and oak-driven, with lingering caramel, vanilla, dark fruit, toasted wood and peppery baking spice.

Distillery Information

Jack Daniel's was founded by Jasper Newton “Jack” Daniel in Lynchburg, Tennessee, and has become one of the world's most recognizable American whiskey brands. The distillery is particularly famous for its charcoal mellowing process, known as the Lincoln County Process, which takes place before the whiskey enters the barrel. Jack Daniel's matures its whiskey in new, charred American oak barrels, allowing the spirit to develop its characteristic caramel, vanilla and oak notes. The distillery is now part of Brown-Forman, while production remains rooted in Lynchburg and the traditional methods associated with the brand.
